Skip’s Fish n’ Chips is located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island (PEI). It’s a local joint, and doesn’t look like much of anything from the outside. Despite this, we’d heard through the grapevine that the fish n’ chips offered here were the best around, and decided to try it out regardless of our first impression upon pulling into the parking lot. What’s the saying… don’t judge a book by it’s cover?

The prices were extremely wallet-friendly, and the food was fantastic! The locals in Summerside, PEI sure know where to go for good eats! The fish tasted fresh, and came coated in the perfect amount of batter. The fries were classic, PEI-grown and straight from the local Cavendish factory. I’d classify this place as a local dive, with fantastic food in a no-fuss environment.

PEI isn’t a large province, so if you drive off the confederation bridge and find yourself hungry, head to Summerside and stop in at Skip’s. You won’t regret it!
